Things Will Go On

People are constantly afraid of death

But they don’t realize life will go on

The day we experience our last breath

The sun will still rise the following dawn

Good things will still happen and so will bad

The world will rotate, the seasons will change

Yeah, sure some people you know will be sad

Living their lives without you could be strange

But eventually, they will move on

And then slowly you will be forgotten

And no matter how much you have withdrawn

From their minds as you stay in your coffin

The earth will continue along its path

Because there is no long term aftermath
